Light entertainment this ain’t… excellent work guys, terse, precisely framed, the feel of Yummy Fur, the palette of Tintin, proof that intelligent life does exist on earth.
I think that it is some amazing stuff. Really well thought out and for only several pages, it really pans the width of existence from babies on Mother Earth to life on another planet. Powerful. The use of color was really well done to add mood and tone. The placing of the word bubble was perfect also. Purple and Green contrast enough to say how cool it made the mood solid. The word bubbles were clear, well lettered, But mostly, this comic tells the story of a two young lovers, who happen to work together in the middle of nowhere and are doing some scientific work. They, calmly have a fight over their future, not just their future about discovering life on another planet, but the future of having a family and furthering their relationship. So little space, but yet such a big telling. I would love to see a graphic novel based on this short story. Or, I would like to see it in the anthology I’m putting together for publication. Anyway, very nicely done.
Fantastic work, guys! If I was to nit-pick, I’d remove the tails from the balloons in the ‘off panel’ shots, so it doesn’t look like the mountains or cell phone are joining the conversation; but other than that, great stuff!
What a wonderful story! You proceed from the cosmic and journey right down into the personal universes within ourselves. I’m reminded of a line from a Graham Parker song; ‘And it shook me’.
‘I just read how universes start’
Continually they blow apart’
Welcome to The Brighter Future! We can Only Imagine what shiny wonders our Glorious Leaders have planned for our dazzling tomorrows … but here at The Brighter Future, we’ll be doing our best to project, reflect and discuss … as our tepid todays blossom into Brighter Futures.
So that’s what ‘going over to the dark side’ means!

Love this. Yes, very deep and well thought out. Thank you:)
This is outstanding. Love the cleverness of that frame of the two smartphones.
Beautiful. Next time I’m out under the night sky, I’ll do a double take
